Cari is bringing a new sound to the game, coming out of the west side of Chicago. Recently changing his base of operations to a studio in Cali. 23 years young, Cari had to mature faster than most. His childhood consisted of many siblings he made lifelong memories with. Being the oldest came with big responsibility. A solid portion of his childhood was looking after his siblings and relatives, being an "Older Brother, Dad, Mentor, The Whole Nine". He stepped up to the plate at a young age while his mom provided for the family. He cared for his siblings, supporting them instead of hitting the streets.

Some of his earliest influences range from a wide variety of artists. Keyshia Cole, Beyoncé, Panic! at the Disco, Greenday, Gucci mane, Young Jeezy, and Lil Wayne. With the abundance of different genres floating around in his head, Cari can gravitate towards the vibe he's feeling. "Some days I wake up Listening to Erykah Badu and like 10 minutes later I'll be on some of the hardest rappers outta Detroit." Cari has no favorite artists, just influences. He made his favorite artist himself and is always listening to his songs and working on some new beats. The best music to his ears is something he or his homies had made. Cari had always been spitting bars since he was a youngin but never really had that set as his main goal. However, in 2018 at the age of 20-21 when him and his homies were riding around freestyling, they told him he's got talent. As much as he denied it, his homies were right. His first song was made only for his friends' ears. However, receiving constant support from them inspired him to dabble into the professional scene.

Cari began production on a project that would later be dropped on his birthday in January of 2018 called "4 Letters". This project reached the heights of 50,000 listens following the release. Up until he got a team, everything was done by him and him alone. From sound engineering to videography to marketing. Some songs I find myself frequently listening to are "On Latrobe", "Lie Again, Try Again", and "Ride the Wave".

Cari had a few wise words of wisdom, "I'll give you the same advice I could give one of my brothers, homies, or someone I just met. The reason I'm in this position I am now is because I always decided to be comfortable with myself. A lot of people get up out their bed everyday, and go live life on social media and you're living in a whole different perception, and it's not really what it is. Just be comfortable being yourself, if you like weird shit then push that you like weird shit. If you like doing certain things accept that you like doing those things even though people might not like it. You just got to be comfortable with being yourself. You got to think about it like if it's a group of people around you that's not liking what you do or what you did, that's not always validation cause there's billions of people out there and just because those five don't like what you're doing don't mean that the rest of the world won't." Always be true to yourself.

Wrapping things up, Cari's newest project, "MOOD MUSIC 2" is out now. From the beginning to end it's really a piece of art. Be sure to give it a listen and vibe out. 🥴
