Taking it to the East Coast in Broward County, Florida, we got my boy Silent Heart. Originally from Haiti, but growing up in Florida, Silent always found a way to keep himself and the people closest to him busy and on the move. After growing up in Broward County he ended up moving twice, settling down in West Palm Beach for now. 2016 was a great year for Silent, his brother, Doobee666, and his group HBK. HBK stands for 2 different things depending on how you act. “Heart Break Kids”, the fuck boy side of things and “Heart Broke Kids”, the simp, loving a hoe side of things. As things started to ramp up in the group like getting shit faced, different fashion statements, and standing on anything they could find at their BnB parties, people began gravitating towards the positive energy. DooBee was the first to release a song in the group that got over 100k plays and inspired the rest of the group to do the same with their different styles. As the group began to fallout, Silent Heart and Doobee became a dynamic duo, dropping track after track. As they dropped the tracks more and more, they began getting attention from people they'd never expect. The first person to really put people on Silent’s music was a guy on insta called @Kassupalen who is a professional scooter rider in Finland. He had featured one of their tracks on a YouTube video and the rest was up from there. Silent and Doobee kept making moves, getting flown out to LA twice to work with engineers, to shoot videos, and even guest appeared on the No Jumper Podcast. The biggest highlight for Silent before this covid shit happened, was being able to open up for 6ix9ine in Miami.
The biggest influences in Silent’s life that truly opened his eyes to music were XXXTENTACION, Juice Wrld, A$AP Rocky, and Prince. X for the Versatility, Juice for the Pockets and deliveries, A$AP for his swag, and Prince for his personality and style. Being from an area you tend to get on artists sooner than most. Silent was one of X’s true fans from beginning to end and experienced the hardship firsthand. “When he died I was working on the clock and had a lil break, went on IG Live and saw it and couldn’t believe it so I kept digging for more, then broke down and cried. Never cried for any artist but I did. Couldn’t finish work so I went home and went to my room for the rest of the day. Today I still feel his presence. His energy is within true fans and family. I’ll see em again, at the time he was the only major artist I wanted a song with.” Losing someone whose music and voice you love to hear in music hurts beyond belief. As X once said, "there's a sense of reminiscence that makes you want to check them out even more." Silent just released a new single you should check out called “Like Me” and it even has a music video with a great visual. Now get the fuck out of this article and go stream his shit.
